Every used hot power washer for sale has issues with the coils springing leaks. The manuf states welding will not work. How many of these machines have you seen with decent steel tubing and tires/axles that are not junk.

I have two hotsys, one is like the one in the video but what a bitch to give it a head since I had 8 hours of work, it's annoying, shit, they say there is no warranty, it smokes, it covers you with ollin, I think I won't buy one of these again.

Overpriced, no dealer support, poor quality, and i unfortunately had a really bad dealer in my area. I will just say i got rid of mine after 24 hours of use. The heater almost never worked and the dealer never took my problem seriously.

I farm and purchased a Hotsy heated pressure washer It was nothing but a headache and the worse piece of equipment I've purchased in 20 years I'd never recommend this company

Could you use Salt Lick on the vehicles floor mats inside the cab ? I understand it was not designed for carpet but would it do any damage to the carpet?

Yo my name is jay and I work for a Hotsy dealership. Dooo not buy a 555HE. Hotsy for whatever reason “saving money” has totally re-designed the pumps and burner assembly’s. The blower design for the burner, igniter and fuel pump are soooo damn chintzy it’s crazy. I’m not knocking Hotsy pressure washers. They are great pieces of equipment but dude, the old burner assembly and old 3 plunger style regular pumps where all the seals and brass are in the manifold are great designs. No need to change them. Sooo buyers. I recommend you buy a used Hotsy instead of new. Almost 90% of service calls we have are for new Hotsy that we sold a few months ago lol. And pleaseeee get rid of those horrible ARD check valve fuel nozzles.

What happens when you are not pulling the trigger or the burner is not firing??? Does all of that condensation and moisture fall into the burner??? It that why Hotsy's have so many burner problems??? Also, aren't smokestacks meant to evacuate smoke/heat ?? That is why they are vertical. I don't think your analogy is accurate to what you are trying to say. Most machines that exchange heat are horizontal for maximum efficiency. Also, why are you trying to show an old dirty Landa with the hose draped over the top and the back panel open...You are cheapening the points you are already having a hard time making.

For a septic field, can I use a hydro jetter + endoscope camera + sludge sucker at the same time? From what I've seen, septic hydrojetter pros: -- stick an endoscope / drain camera down, then pull it out -- then stick the jetter down, then pull it out -- then stick the sucker to the pipe, then pull it off -- then repeat, repeat, repeat ? (sometimes omitting the camera, relying on feel) Is there a way to have the jetter + camera + sucker operating at the same time? You'd need two people and two gas-powered pressure washers, I presume. I plan to zip-tie an endoscope / borescope camera to the hydrojetter / water jetter to clear five 4-inch-diameter 60-foot leach pipes from 1973, and have a 2nd person hold a sludge sucker as close as possible to the pipe while the jetter hose (and endoscope) are in the pipe. There won't be a seal between the sucker and the pipe, and the sucker won't be submersed in water. Will this work well? Is there a way to do it with only one pressure washer? (I'm almost certain there isn't, but worth asking.) Although the sucker hose is only 1.5" (interior, i presume), the face of the sucker is >4", so it can't be inserted inside the 4" drain pipe. I know jetters send water backwards which not only helps the nozzle stay / move forward, but also sends debris backwards. I know sludge suckers use the venturi effect to create a vacuum. Thanks

If you are using a lower grade psi or gpm it will not work as good. For a home unit it is made solid and we'll worth it especially if you can get it damaged box for around 45.00*

This video should be taken down due to the amount of false information. Furthermore, on the belt-drive units, Landa uses a larger motor & pump ( at a lower RM|PM) and larger heating coil than the Hotsy unit. This video is a joke!

Uncle Rob is full of it. They don’t call the Warmsy’s for no reason. The dude could have at least used a competitor machine that was t built in the same Mexico plant. Yellow and red are the same company. Same coil pipe. Same pumps motors and burners built by the same cheap Mexican labor. The Landa could have always burned and heated better because they have more pipe in the head of the coils.

I agree with Tom's position on this. I have used both Hotsy (vertical coil) and Landa (Horizontal coil) and I can attest that the horizontal coil is way less problematic and will have huge fuel savings in the long run. In addition, pressure washer components such as the pump and the coil should be protected from over-spray/debris/dirt/moisture/etc to keep the machine in good running condition. We have always tended to have burner issues with the vertical coil due to soot/debris/moisture falling into the burner. They are also a pain to work on with the burner way underneath the machine.

I tend to disagree with most of this. The horizontal coils that we have had not only protect the burner assembly, they don't have burner issues like our vertical Hotsy coils. The video even admits to condensation falling from the coil, which ultimately gets into our Hotsy burner causing multiple burner issues. In addition, since this unit is usually in a wash bay, over-spray can get into the coil, and also into the motor (which is not TEFC water-proof rated as it should be!) and cause a host of other issues.) I would much rather have the motor/belt/etc protected from water! With the research I have done, all industrial machines have horizontal coils as they also tend to be way more fuel efficient and will use a lot less diesel to achieve the proper temperature. The reason smoke stacks are vertical is because they are meant to evacuate the smoke/heat, not trap it to properly heat water as in a pressure washer! This is why it takes a vertical coil more fuel to heat the water.

Hotsy are made like tank. But my pressure washer takes long time to cycle the hot water even in summers what can be the reason

my experience - SS 555 used a 1 1/4 gallon gas can with a small spout, slid garden hose over the spout and hose clamped it - can had a separate vent -- would probably use a 2 1/2 gallon can next time if spout was small enough for the hose biggest tip is to start and stop the flow as soon as the pump primes to purge the bypass immediately -- there is a lot of hose and apparently the heater coils hold a lot of water I waited to purge the bypass until I was almost finished and it takes a lot of antifreeze to push out the bypass water though the whole system I thought from the video that a gallon or 2 would do it -- I used 7 -- mainly caused by waiting late in the process to purge the bypass And then having to re-purge the whole system a second time Got a lot of junk out of the system before the antifreeze came though In the end - all good - the guy at the Napa store thought I went through a lot of antifreeze pretty quick
